The Institute of Public Relations Malaysia Students’ Association (IPRMSA)-IIUM Chapter was established on 25th of August 2001 as a Kulliyyah based student association which operates interdependently with the Department of Communication, Kulliyyah of IRKHS. To date the registered members stands at 130. IPRMSA-IIUM Chapter had conducted several programs such as training courses, seminars, exhibitions as well as a corporate social responsibility program. Moreover, members had the opportunity to participate in programs hosted by other corporate establishments and universities.
Mission Statement
The Institute of Public Relations Malaysia Student Association (IPRMSA) is for the purpose of bringing together students from local universities and private colleges that are interested in public relations to share and be actively involved in public relations programmes under one Association supported the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia (IPRM) and public relations practitioners.

Objectives
Basically, the objective of this Student Association is to unite students who are interested in the field of public relations, and in particular to carry out all of the following:
- To act as a platform for students who are interested in public relations to exchange ideas and to participate in public relations programs.
- To cultivate mutual understanding and foster networking among members of IIUM Chapter and other chapters as well as members of parent of association i.e. IPRM.
- To provide members with skills and knowledge through various public relations courses and activities.
- To enhance the image of the profession and the status and potential of the students through the activities held by the Association.
